Moscow-Russia: Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and all Russia greeted President Vladimir Putin of Russia on the occasion of his 68th birthday on 7/7/2020.
“Your many years of service to the Fatherland remain an excellent example of loyalty to duty and a responsible attitude to the duties entrusted to you. Defending the national interests of the country and caring for the well-being of fellow citizens. You invariably consider the preservation of peace and social harmony in Russia at the forefront, by taking care of the socio-economic development.
With excellent results of church-state cooperation achieved over the recent years, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to you for your attention to the needs of Orthodox believers and support for various initiatives of the Moscow Patriarchate”. The Patriarch stated in his letter.
