Scandinavia: His Holiness Ignatius Aphrem II – Patriarch of Antioch and All East met with Martin Schulz- President of the European Parliament.
They discussed the current situation in syria, Iraq and Middle East in General. Patriarch was accompanied by a high level Syriac Orthodox Delegation.
The Patriarch and the delegation also met with the Dutch foreign minister , Mr. Elmar Brok – Chair of the Committee of Foreign Affairs in the European Parliament as well as with several hig level European leaders.
