H.H Patriarch Aphrem II arrived late at night to the international airport of Stockholm-Arlanda in the capital of Sweden Stockholm, and was greeted by their eminences the archbishops of Sweden, Julius Abdullahad Gallo Shabo and Dioscoros Benjamin Atas along with priests and laymen with the committee responsible of the first apostolic visit to the monarchy of Sweden since 1987.
His Holiness visit will include an audience at the royal palace where the patriarch will meet the king and queen of Sweden and a meeting with the prime minister and foreign minister of Sweden.
