Patrairch Ignatius Aphrem II Visits the Mosque of Khaled Bin Al-Waleed

Damascus: Mor Ignatius Aphrem II visited the Mosque of Khaled Bin Al-Waleed accompanied by His Excellency Mr. Mohammad Abdelsattar Al-Sayid, Minister of Endowments and Mr. Talal Al-Barazi, Governor of Homs along with a delegation including their Eminences: Mor Selwanos Boutros Al-Nehmeh, Archbishop of Homs, Hama and Environs, Mor Justinus Boulos Safar, Patriarchal Vicar in Zahleh and Bekaa, Mor Dionysius Jean Kawak, Director of the Patriarchal Office in Damascus, Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Secretary and some monks and priests.
Sheikh Issam Al-Masri, Director of the Endowments of Homs received them and they had a tour in the Mosque to examine the destruction that affected it.
The Minister of Endowments spoke that Syria is healing its wounds. He also greeted the Syrian army and the souls of the martyrs with which Syria is winning. He also stated that crisis is almost over.
