Lagos-Nigeria: Radical Islamic Fulani militants have killed over 44 Christian on the 26th of September 2021 in Kaduna State, in Nigeria, reports persecution.org. Christians in Madamai, Abun and in Kachia districts were also attacked. A response form the government troops prevented further assault.

Christians in Nigeria Continue to Encounter Severe Persecution

In further developments, in Kano State a mob killed Reverend Yohanna Shuaibu, the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) a Pastor of the New Life Church. Kano is one of the twelve states in Nigeria to operate under Sharia law.

Christians in Nigeria face severe persecution from Islamic extremist groups like Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen. Over 15000 Christians have been murdered since 2015 even though the exact number is considerably higher.
