We are happy to present the activity report of Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE (Pan-Orthodox Christian Society) for the years 2016. The report includes details of meetings, visits, research publications, charity, and social welfare as well as other activities.
Meetings Visits, Events, Awards and Recognition
In 2016, the OCP Delegation met several Orthodox and ecumenical church leaders namely His Holiness Abune Mathias – Patriarch of Ethiopian and the Ethiopian Church delegation, Archbishop Stephen Vattapra of the Anglican Church of India. OCP Treasurer met Archbishop Makarios of the Jerusalem Patriarchate and with the Coptic Orthodox Bishop Yousef of the SouthernUSA. OCP delegation in the Middle East visited the Armenian Orthodox community in Abu Dhabi. They were welcomed by Fr Mesrob – Catholici Vicar of UAE and Qatar.
OCP Delegate of USA, Presvesterya Seraphima, visited Ethiopian, Eritrean, Indian and Syriac Orthodox communities. Special reports were published on the visit. She also received Metropolitan Yulios Geevarghese of Pulikkotil and discussed Pan0Orthoidox unity issues.
Apart from the Prelates, OCP Secretary met Shri. Benyamin, who is a famous award-winning author, a faithful of the Indian Orthodox Malankara Church.

Honour and Awards
Patriarch Abune Mathias and the Armenian Orthodox Church of Abu Dhabi were bestowed with the icon of St. Peter and St. Thomas. The Ethiopian Orthodox delegation was presented with the icon of St. Gregorious of Parumala. Shri Benyamin and Archbishop Stephen Vattapra were presented with the OCP Order of Three Saints.
Events
The OCP Icon of St. Gregorious of Parumala of was venerated in Cameroon by several Oriental Orthodox Christian faithful during the first week of October 2016. The veneration was presided by Metropolitan Mor Mariam Philipose who is the Primate of the Eglise Syro-Orthodoxe-Francophone Church (a small Oriental Orthodox Church based in Paris- France). Earlier, the Eglise Syro-Orthodoxe-Francophone Church community in France venerated the Icon in the month of October 2015. The OCP Icon of St gregarious of Parumala is widely used among Oriental Orthodox Christians. In 2016, the icon was displayed at the Syriac Orthodox Youth conference.
Research and Publications
Two important books were published in 2016. The second edition of the book Collected Writings and the first edition of the book The Orthodox Dilemma were published. Orthodox Dilemma opened to rave reviews. A book on the dialogue between Eastern and Oriental Orthodox Churches was published by the Volos Theological Academy in Greece. OCP Secretary contributed in the book. He was the only one among two authors from the Indian Sub-continent to associate with the work. The second edition will be launched in January 2017. Numerous articles were published by OCP delegates in various print and e-media. OCP Secretary also associated with Volos Academy in Greece and contributes in their latest book on Eastern and Oriental Orthodox Dialogue.
News, Media & Technical Aspect
OCP Media Network remains the world’s largest Pan-Orthodox Christian news portal. In the year 2016we were able, to broadcast extensive and exclusive news and events from the world of Orthodoxy.

Network and Cooperation
Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE maintains fraternal relations and cooperation with several Orthodox churches and organizations namely the Serbian Orthodox Patriarchate, Belarusian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate, St Vladimir Seminary, British Orthodox Church, Armenian Apostolic Patriarchate of Jerusalem, Holy Trinity Seminary of ROCOR, St Catherin’s Vision, Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate, Assyrian Church of the East, Coptic Orthodox Church of the UK, Assist news Service and many more. OCP established fraternal relations with the Inter-Christian Dept. of the Moscow Patriarchate and Greek Orthodox Metropolitanate of Nafpaktos and St. Vlassios.
We have extended cooperation with independent authors like Lucine Kasbarian and published exclusive articles on the issues of Christians in Iraq and Syria.
OCP Hierarchy
New appointments were held made in the year 2016.PRESVYTRA SERAPHIMA ILIAY IOANNA SHAGOURY (USA) TIGIST ABZA – Delegate & Social Media Expert (Ethiopia), Seraphima, Alwin are the new delegates of Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE. An external observer Committee was formed in 2016 for non-orthodox Christian to associate with the activities of OCP Society. JOSLYN RENAE RAMEY was appointed as the first delegate. She is the first ever External Observer from the Roman Catholic Church (USA). The OCP Assoicate Council was expanded to Sri Lanka and Levant.
Charity and Social Welfare
Dept. of Charity and social welfare extended our helping hands to the needy and poor using our limited resources. A total amount of Rupees 101909(USD 1500) was given as assistance for education and health needs.
Technical Aspects
The OCP Website and technical support Dept. is operated by Sitra Infotect. New OCP web portal was launched in the month of October 2016. This is the 5th generation OCP web portal.
