Orthodox Primates with the President of the Albanian Parliament

On 2 June 2014, the Primates of the Orthodox Churches present at Tirana on the occasion of the consecration of the new Archiepiscopal Cathedral of the Resurrection of the Lord met His Excellency Mt Ilir Meta, President of the Albanian Parliament. His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of Romania, was also present.
From 31 May – 2 June 2014, the Primate of the Romanian Orthodox Church is paying a brotherly visit to Albania, at the invitation of His Beatitude Anastasion, Archbishop of Tirana and All Albania.
The delegation of the Romanian Orthodox Church, which also includes His Eminence Ciprian, Archbishop of Buzau and Vrancea, will return to Bucharest on 2 June in the evening.
