Rüsselsheim / Germany: It was found that on the packaging of the product “Weideglück Sahne Joghurt nach griechischer Art “, produced by Weideglück – Milchwerke Schwaben , Germany, the crosses on the blue domes of the well-known Orthodox churches of Santorini were removed. The product is marketed in several European countries.

We wonder what reasons could have led to such a distortion of the original image:

* Is it no longer possible to present the Christian symbol of the cross publicly?

* The company wanted to avoid images of crosses, becuase certain customer groups may restrain from purchasing their product?

* Is it the advertising agency responsible for the product design with the distorted representation of the church crosses from Santorini?

Several customers are asking above questions. On a request we have not received a response from Weideglück – Milchwerke Schwaben- Germany.
