Oriental Orthodox Primates hold Meeting at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

Yerevan: Five Patriarchs/Catholicos of the ancient Oriental Orthodox communion of Churches held a private meeting at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin in Yerevan, Armenia on 23rd April 2015. The meeting was hosted by His Holiness Karekin II Catholicos-Patriarch of All Armenia.

Participating prelates were His Holiness Tawadros II – Pope of Alexandria, His Holiness Ignatius Aphrem II – Patriarch of Anthicoh and All East, His Holiness Karekin II – Catholcos-Patriarch of All Armenia, His Holiness Aram I – Catholicos of the Holy See on Cilicia and His Holiness Baselios Paulose II – Catholicose of the East and Malankara Metropolitan. The meeting was organised prior to the canonization ceremony of the Martyrs of the Armenian genocide.
