Opening of the Painting Exhibition of Rev. Fr. Nerseh Khalatyan
On January 24th, with the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; the opening of the painting and graphics exhibition of Rev. Fr. Nerseh Khalatyan, Chairman of the Priest Accelerated Preparation Courses, was held in the Gevorkian Theological Seminary. 45 paintings were presented.
Rev. Fr. Karekin Hambarzumyan, Dean of the Gevorkian Theological Seminary; gave opening remarks. Mr. Karen Aghamyan, President of the Artists’ Union of Armenia and Mr. Karen Grigoryan, Mayor of Etchmiadzin made congratulatory remarks.
In turn, Father Nerseh expressed his gratitude to the Catholicos of All Armenians for providing him the opportunity to display his works, then reflected on his creative life, and presented his works.
The Saghmosergu Male Choir performed spiritual music and hymns, conducted by Mr. Vahe Begoyan. The ceremony was attended by members of the Brotherhood of the Mother See, artists, seminarians and other guests. The exhibition will be open until January 28th.
