OCP Statement on the abduction of Orthodox Metropolitan’s in Syria

Dear Readers, well-wishers and beloved ones

It has been a week of great sorrow pain and distress for each one of us to learn about the kidnapping of two revered Orthodox Metropolitan’s their Eminences  Boulos Yazigi of the Greek Orthodox Church of Antioch and All East and Mor Gregorios Yohanna Ibrahim of the Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch and All East.

Let us hold them in prayers especially their family members, the holy Church, her hierarchy, the faithful and for the people of the Syrian Nation. May God have great mercy upon all.

May God almighty pave way for the safe return of our beloved Metropolitan’s. May God grant lasting peace to the nation of Syria.

May God bless us all.
