Global: The Secretariat of the Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE (Pan-Orthodox Christian Society) has petitioned the Vatican over the ‘activities’ of the Eastern Catholic Uniate Rites in India. The petition consists of a number of important concerns over the ‘aggressive ecclesiastical activities’ of the two Uniate Rites.
The Secretariat informed that the petition was filed after several deliberations between the hierarchy of the OCP Society. The petition was filed after informing the Ecumenical Relations Department of the Malankara Orthodox Church.

His Eminence Cardinal Leonardo Sandri – Prefect of the Congregation for the Oriental Churches.
His Eminence Giambattista Diquattro – Apostolic Nuncio of India and Nepal and the Titular Archbishop of Giramonte.
His Eminence Joseph Kalathiparambil- Metropolitan-Archbishop of Veropoly.
His Eminence Soosa Pakiam – Metropolitan-Archbishop of Trivandrum.
