OCP Executive Council Calls for Prayers and Constructive Efforts for Global Peace

Global: The Executive Council Jacob of Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE Society under the Chairmanship of Mr. K C Jacob called for prayers and constructive efforts for lasting Global Peace.

The Executive Council expressed at most concern on the situation of Christians in the Middle East, Iraq, Ukraine, Africa and elsewhere. OCP Council members and Delegates from different regions voiced their strong opposition on the persecution of Christians and other minority groups which cannot be acceptable at any cost.

There should be constructive and continues efforts to restore peace. Justice must be served to all people regardless of religion and ethnicity. The Council also stated that religious freedom, the right to worship and to follow one’s belief is one of the basic factors that determine human rights. The hope in humanity is not lost.

The OCP Executive Council request continues prayers and genuine efforts from all sections of the society to make the world a better place to live.
