New Publications on Sermons and the First Republic of Armenia
Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin – 3/3/18
With the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; the Publishing Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, has published the collection “Sermons and Reviews” by Rev. Fr. Shahe Ananyan, Director of Ecumenical Relations Department of Mother See; and the work “Public and Diplomatic Activities of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin (1918-1920)” by Mr. Avag Harutyunyan.
In the first book, along with the sermons, the author reflected on the findings on various issues of Christian faith, national-ecclesiastical events and feasts.
The second book is dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the First Republic of Armenia, and is an analysis of the political aspects of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church’s internal condition from 1918-1920; the role of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin in the international relations of the Republic of Armenia; the external activities of the Mother See; the relations between the Mother See and the Republic of Armenia; and the approach of the Mother See towards Armenia’s domestic and foreign political life.
The first book was published by the patronage of the Sarkis Gabrielyan Fund, and the second book is published by the sponsorship of Mr. Vahan Martirosyan.
