Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin Welcomes H.R. 4347 Adopted by the US House Committee on Foreign Affairs

The Armenian Apostolic Holy Church and His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, welcome the H.R. 4347 Act, adopted on June 26 by the members of the United States House Committee on Foreign Affairs. The act requires that the US Department of State present an annual report on the efforts implemented by the USA for the preservation, recovery and reimbursement to their rightful owners of the Christian sanctuaries and estates confiscated in Turkey.
The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin highly appreciates the efforts of the committee members for the sake of re-establishing justice and spreading solidarity. The adoption of the formula is an important step towards the defense of the Christian minorities and their rights in Turkey.
