Moldova: The National Educational Project “Spiritual Readings” was recently launched by the Metropolitan Church of Moldova in partnership with the branch of the General Association of Romanian Teachers of the Republic of Moldova (AGIRoMd). The project is a pedagogical exercise for the support, capitalization and promotion of spiritual literature.
The project aims to promote and educate positive attitudes towards reading, in general and towards spiritual reading through the development of life skills, social relations between children and adults, and exchange of good practices between staff. The project also promote skills of conscious reading, literary-artistic talent of students in participating educational institutions, and enlightens the participants on the role of reading in personality development and cultivating lifelong learning skills. Each month, a video conference is held to bring together the authors, publishers, readers, teachers, and students to discuss a book on “Spiritual Readings” project card.
