Metropolitan Mor Timotheos Thomas of the Syriac Orthodox Church receives OCP Delegation: Metropolitan decorated with the Order of Three Saints

Kerala: Metropolitan Mor Themothios Thomas of Kottayam of the Syriac Orthodox Church in India (Patriarchate of Antioch and All East) received Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE Society delegation on 26th November 2014 at his residence within the complex of St Joseph Cathedral Church in Kottayam district of Kerala.
Discussions were made on the sad conditions of Christians in the Middle East. Ajesh Phillip explained the details of the MARP project, to which Metropolitan expressed a keen interest. As short presentation on the pan-orthodox activities of OCP Society was also presented.
On behalf of the OCP Foundation, Subin Varghese decorated Metropolitan Themothios Mathews with the OCP Order of Three Saints. A copy of the new pan-orthodox publication titled ‘Collected Writings on Orthodox Christianity’ was presented by Varghese John. The OCP icon of St Gregory of Parumala was presented to the Kottayam Diocese as a token of love and respect.
The OCP delegation was led by Varghese John Thattapuzha (Director –Dept. of Publications). He was accompanied by Subin Varghese (Vice-Chairman), George Alexander (Secretary), Abraham P Koshy (Treasurer) and Ajesh T Phillip (Delegate of Indian Sub-Continent and Chief Project Coordinator – MARP).
