Occupied Jerusalem, (SANA) – A massive rally was held in the courtyard of the church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem in solidarity with the abducted Bishops, Greek Orthodox Metropolitan of Aleppo and Iskenderun, Bishop Paul Yazigi and Syriac Orthodox Metropolitan of Aleppo, Bishop John Ibrahim by an armed terrorist group in the countryside of Aleppo.

In a speech on behalf of the audience, Archbishop of Sebastia of the Greek Orthodox Church Atallah Hanna said ” We are worried and feel pain after passing more than 100 day on the abduction of the two bishops,” adding that today’s gathering comes to express solidarity with Syria and Egypt, calling for releasing the abducted bishops in Aleppo.

He appealed to the world churches, religious and legal institutions to exert efforts to release the two bishops as this is a human demand.

An armed terrorist group abducted the two Bishops on April 22, while they were offering humanitarian aid in Kafar Da’el in Aleppo countryside.
