Installation of His Eminence Mor George Kourieh
Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate – March 2017
On Sunday March 5, 2017, His Eminence Mor George Kourieh was installed Patriarchal Vicar of Belgium, France and Luxembourg at Mor Izozoel Church in Brussels, Belgium.
The Rite of the Synthronise (Installation) was conducted by their Eminences Mor Dionysius Issa Gurbuz, Patriarchal Vicar in Switzerland and Austria, Mor Nicolaos Matta Abdelahad, Patriarchal Vicar in Spain, Mor Justinus Boulos Safar, Patriarchal Vicar in Zahleh and Beqaa, and Mor Athanasius Touma Dakkama, Patriarchal Vicar in the United Kingdom.
His Eminence Mor George Kourieh addressed the faithful of the Patriarchal Vicariate in Belgium, France and Luxembourg praying the Lord to bless his ministry and the flock that was entrusted to his spiritual and administrative care.
Faithful from all the parishes of the Patriarchal Vicariate attended this special rite and congratulated His Eminence for his new mission.
