Indo-Russian Seminar Held at Sopana Orthodox Academy

Kottayam-Kerala-India: A Seminar on Indo-Russian Relations was held at the Sopana Orthodox Academy(owned and managed by the Malankara Church). Hieromonk Stephan Igmnov (Secretary to the Desk of Oriental Orthodox Chruch of the External Chruch Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate was the main speaker at the Seminar.

Fr. Dr. K. M. George (Director of Sopana Academy), Fr. Abraham Thomas (Secretary of the Ecumenical Relations Dept. of the Malankara Orthodox Chruch spoke during the seminar as well. The Ancient Orthodox Church of Malankara and the Russian Orthodox Church share fraternal and historic relations.
