Inauguration of a New Sayfo Monument at Mor Gewargis Church – Aleppo

His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II inaugurated a new Sayfo Monument at Mor Gewargis Church in Aleppo.
The monument was erected by the devoted efforts of Very Rev. Fr. Shukri Touma and the members of his family for the memory of the late Bathqyomo Shukriyeh.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by His Eminence Mor Selwanos Boutros Al-Nehmeh, Archbishop of Homs, Hama and Environs, His Grace Mor George Kourieh, Dean of Mor Aphrem Theological Seminary, and Very Rev. Boutros Kassis, Patriarchal Delegate of the Archdiocese of Aleppo and Environs along with the clergy, officials and faithful of Mor Gewargis Church.
