More than 200 Christians are detained in detention camps throughout the country, reports Catholicculture.

Recently a Christian woman was found dead in one of the prison camps. Eritrea is notorious for detaining Christians. Authorities continue to raid “illegal” worship centers.
Thousands of Eritrean’s continue to flee the country seeking safe haven in the West. Patriarch Abune Antonios of Eritrea is the most famous prisoner. The Primate of Eritrean church is detained since 2007.
