Holy New Martyrs of Kragujevac, Pray For Us!

His Grace Bishop Jovan of Sumadija celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in front of the church of Sts New Martyrs of Kragujevac in Sumarice district on the occasion of 78 years since shooting more than two hundred citizens of Kragujevac by German occupation forces.
In the honor and glory of Sts New Martyrs of Kragujevac, pupils of the Theological Seminary of St. John Chrysostom sang responses. Bishop Jovan blessed slava loaf with Jovan Aleksic, founder of the Sumarica church. His Grace also served with the clergy and faithful people the acathist to the Holy New Martyrs in front of the V3 monument. The event took place on the 21st of October, the day when the school children with their teachers were shot.
