Ma`arat Sayyidnaya, Damascus: HH Patriarch Ignatius Zakka 1st will lead the consecration of Holy Chrism assisted by H.B Catholicose Dr. Baselious Thomas 1st & other Metropolitans of Holy Syrian Orthodox Church on 19th September 2010. H.B Catholicose Dr. Baselios Thomas 1st will participate in the Holy occasion as per the special invitation of Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka 1st.
The preparation for the consecration of Holy Chrism has been started on 10th September at Patriarchal Head quarters here. HH Ignatius Zakka 1st along with H.E Philexinose Mathias Nayis (Patriarchal Assistant & Director of St. Ephrem Theological seminary here) along with Rembans & Priests combined the materials for preparing Holy Chrism on 10th September in an atmosphere filled with prayers & hymns.
The photographs should have been uploaded in their correct order, so that a non-Orthodox person would understand it sequence … I am surprised that they are uploaded in this haphazard manner 🙁
