His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir participates at the Presidium of the Inter-Council Presence

On 21 November 2012, the fifth session of the Presidium of the Russian Orthodox Church’s Inter-Council Presence opened at the Throne Hall of the Patriarchal and Synodal residence in St Daniel’s Monastery under the chairmanship of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.

The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church presented the agenda of the session, that included: “The procedure and criteria of election of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia”, “Proposals for the introduction of completions and amendments into the Charter of the Russian Orthodox Church”, “About the position of the Church on new informational and identification technologies”, “The position of the Russian Orthodox Church on the reform of family legislation and juvenile justice”, “On the principles of the Russian Orthodox Church concerning the rehabilitation of drug-dependent persons”, “On the position of the Russian Orthodox Church regarding existing ecological problems”.
The decisions made at the assembly included the creation of thirteen commissions that would function in the following years. The areas of their activity will be published at the end of the Assembly works.
