Global: The January 2018, issue of the Focus Diaspora Journal of the Marthoma Syrian Church of Malabar, (A Church in former Oriental Orthodox tradition and a member of the Global Anglican Communion) is now available for download.

The new issue features readings on St. Gregory of Parumala by Rev Dr.  Rev. Dr. Valson Thampu.

St Gregorius is the first canonized Indian Saint and is well known for his miraculous powers. Many faithful intercede on behalf of the great saint of Parumala. He is much revered in Indian and Syriac Orthodox Churches as well as in Ethiopian and Coptic Orthodox Churches.

Pan-Orthodox Icon of St Gregorious
OCP Foundation produced one of the first ever icons of St Gregorious and it remains as a symbol of Pan-Orthodox Christian Conciliar unity. The icon was written Byzantine Orthodox monks and the original is preserved at the residence of the OCP Chancellor in Chicago. OCP Foundation has honored several personalities with the icon of St Gregorious.

It is an independent lay movement of the Diaspora laity of the Mar Thoma Church (It is not an official publication of the Mar Thoma Church). It is an ecumenical journal to focus attention more sharply on issues to help churches and other faith communities to examine their own commitment to loving their neighbors and God, justice, and peace.
