Flowers adorn Armenian Church on Akhtamar Island

13/4/13

The Hurriyet Daily News has published the photos of the Armenian  Surb Khach Church adorned by spring flowers.

As spring comes, flowers create a sea of color on Akhtamar, the second-larest island in Lake Van.

Akhtamar Island is home to the 10th-century Surb Khach (Holy Cross) Armenian Church.

The origin and meaning of the island’s name is based on an old Armenian legend that centers on the love of an Armenian princess named Tamar who lived on the island.

The historic church became a museum after being restored in 2007.The Church of Surb Khach (Holy Cross) was reopened for prayers for the first time in decades in September 2010.

723806 184835The book is excellent, but this review is not exactly spot-on. Being a Superhero is much more about selecting foods that heal your body, not just eating meat/dairy-free. Processed foods like those mentioned in this review arent what Alicia is trying to promote. In the event you arent open to sea vegetables (and yes, Im talking sea weed), just stop at vegan. 670150
