First Georgian Orthodox Church to appear in Kazakhstan

Georgian Orthodox Church is planned to be constructed in Kazakhstan, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported referring to Georgian media.
On 17 September delegation of Georgian Orthodox Church will arrive to Astana.
These days the main relic of Russian “near abroad” which is Kursk icon of Virgin Mary will be brought to Kazakhstan.
During the visit the sides will also discuss the most suitable place to erect the Georgian Church.
