Feast-Day Celebrations at the Gethsemane Convent
On Tuesday, August 4, 2015, the feast day of St Mary Magdalene, Equal-to-the-Apostles, Gethsemane Convent in Jerusalem celebrated the holiday of its church dedicated to that saint.
His Eminence Archbishop Mark of Berlin and Germany, Overseer of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem, and His Grace Bishop Theodosius of Seattle celebrated Divine Liturgy along with Archimandrite Roman (Krassovsky), Chief of the Mission of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, and other Mission and visiting clergymen. His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem and All Palestine honored the worshipers with his presence, who arrived with other members of the Holy Synod of Jerusalem Patriarchate.
