On June 10, the members of the Executive Committee of the World Council of Churches visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex to pay tribute to the memory of the Holy Martyrs of the Armenian Genocide.
During the centenary year of the Armenian genocide, the executive committee of the World Council of Churches is meeting 8-13 June in Armenia. To honour the martyrs and the victims of the genocide, the WCC executive committee visited today the Armenian Genocide Memorial to remember them and to pray in the name of the risen Lord Jesus Christ. The Prayer was led by Bishop Hovakim and the reading was from Hebrew 10:32-36 and John 14: 1-13.
