Dubai: The Ethiopian Orthodox Church leaders of the United Arab Emirates have lauded the activities of the Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE Society at the all UAE National Ethiopian orthodox Youth Conference held on 20th June 2014 at the Al Nazr Club in Dubai.
The Fathers of the Ethiopian Community stated that OCP Society is doing a vital role in enhancing Pan-Orthodox Unity through online and offline activities. They also thanked for the presence of OCP Delegate at the Conference as well as for the great opportunity of inaugurating the Addis Ababa Conference Portal. They also thanked the OCP delegation for the love, respect, and care and hopes to continue extended cooperation between the two parties.
The OCP delegation discussed with the Ethiopian youth leaders and deacons the various types of challenges faced by the Oriental Orthodox Churches at home and in diaspora region. Further studies and discussions will be held between OCP Society and the Ethiopian Orthodox Church on the future of the ancient Oriental Orthodox Communion.
The Ethiopian Orthodox Conference was filled with colorful events of drama, art, music and traditional Ethiopian Orthodox art forms. More than 2500 youth participated in the conference.
