Estonian president met with Patriarch of Constantinople

President of Estonia Toomas Hendrik Ilves, who is on an official visit to Turkey, visited the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I of Constantinople on Saturday, April 17, the press service of the president informed BC.
The Estonian Head of State thanked the Patriarch for his strong support of the Orthodox Church of Estonia, which restored its activities in Estonia under the continuity of rights.
President Ilves on April 16 met in Ankara with the Turkish Head of State, Mr. Abdullah Gül, the Prime Minister of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Mr. Mehmet Ali Sahin, and he gave a presentation at Bilkent University.
