OCP Secretary Received Eminent Orthodox Historian Dr M Kurien Thomas

India/Global: Dr M Kurien Thomas, one of the leading Orthodox Christian historians in India has been honored with Menora Award. 

Dr M Kurien Thomas is the author of nine books and more than 150 articles. His first international publication titled “The Indian Way of Christianity- History of Malankara Nazaranis, otherwise St Thomas Christians till C.E 1815″ was published by LAMBERT Academic Publishing company in the month of March 2012. He has several edited works to his credit particularity on Indian Church history. 

The Award has been constituted by the Metropolitan Thimotheos Mathews of the UK-Europe and Africa Diocese of the Indian Malankara Orthodox Church. The Menora Orthodox Center is the Indian residence of the Metropolitan and is located in Kerala. 

Dr Kurien is a close associate of Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE Society. In the year 2012 Dr Kurien was received and honored  with the OCP Icon of St Gregory of Parumala at the residence of the Secretary.
