Concert Held on the Feast of Ascension

With the blessing of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the Christian Education Center of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin presented a festive concert in celebration of the Feast of Ascension. The event was organized in collaboration with several Ministries of the Republic of Armenia – Education and Science, Diaspora, and Culture; along with the Yerevan Municipality and representatives of the “Ararat” religious organizations of the Araratian Pontifical Diocese.
The event highlighted the importance of jubilantly celebrating public and church holidays in educational institutions, to serve as a tool for teaching patriotic values to the generations. Invited to the event were principals of Yerevan secondary schools; public school teachers of the course “History of the Armenian Church”; and the teaching staff of the “Cilician” school of the Syrian Armenians.
The event was held on May 13, 2013 at the hall of the Choral Company of Armenia
