CLERGY WIVES RETREAT SCHEDULED FOR FALL

The Consistory of our Church in conjunction with the Western Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA has announced the dates for the Clergy Wives Retreat, which is scheduled for September 18-20, 2009th at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Parish in Palos Park, IL
In his letter of invitation to the Retreat, His Grace Bishop Daniel stated that he sees this retreat “as extremely important, not only because it creates an opportunity for fellowship or “sisterhood” for the clergy wives but, more importantly, it will provide a further opportunity to renew the spirit of this special call to a unique ministry, which must never be taken for granted.”
The Retreat will feature various presentations as well as provide time for socializing and discussion. His Beatitude Metropolitan Constantine, His Eminence Archbishop Antony and His Grace Bishop Daniel will join with retreat participants to provide guidance and lead discussions about clergy spousal and family issues. Panimatka Laura Naumenko will serve as the hostess of the retreat.
