Church of the Holy Trinity in Sydney declared a Landmark

A years long effort by Greek-Australian officials s come to a positive end as the first Greek Orthodox Church built in Australia, and the southern hemisphere, has been declared a historical monument and will now be included in the New South Wales Heritage Council.

The recognition was made on May 28th, one day before the 112th anniversary of the church’s groundbreaking took place on May 29, 1898.
