Christian Orphanage Destroyed by Islamic Jihadists in Nigeria

Lagos-Nigeria: According to a recent report by Religious Freedom Coalition, a Christian orphanage in Plateau State was attacked and destroyed by the radical Muslim Fulani Herdsmen on the 2nd of August 2021. Fortunately the inmates and staff were evacuated before the second attack and are safe. The orphanage needs heavy repair before it can be put to use again.

Christians in Nigeria face severe persecution from Islamic extremist groups like Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen. Over 15000 Christians have been murdered since 2015 even though the exact number is considerably higher.
