The theoretical high-school “St. Cyril and Methodius” celebrated today the 30th anniversary of it’s foundation. This outstanding event was celebrated by the institution’s teachers and pupils, along with the guests, including Archpriest Octavian Mosin. Fr. Octavian read out the message of congratulation of His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir. In his message the hierarch communicated wishes for all the best, expressing hope that this educational institution will continue to be a model of pedagogical art. Thus, Fr. Octavian Mosin rendered the Metropolitan’s decree of awarding the institution with the medal of Stephan the Great, while the headmaster of the lyceum, Mr. Genady Tolpinsky was distinguished with the second degree order of Venerable Paisy Velichkovski, in sign of high appreciation of the efforts made in pedagogical activity.
Mr. Tolpinsky, on behalf of the entire staff of the institution, and personally, thanked His Eminence for high appreciation and distinctions, and said that the teachers and the pupils of the lyceum of St. Cyril and Methodius will continue making all the necessary efforts to preserve the prestige of their institution.
