Beirut: Catholicos of India and Metropolitan Trustee of Syriac Orthodox Church in India, His Beatitude Aboon Mor Baselios Thomas I, will lead the Enthronement ceremony of Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II the Patriarch elect of Antioch and all the East.

Mor Ignatius Aphrem II will be installed as the head of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church and as the 123rd successor of St. Peter on the Apostolic throne in Antioch.

The ceremony will be held on 29th May 2014, on the Day of Ascension, at St. Peter & St. Paul Syriac Orthodox Cathedral at Maarat Saydnaya in Syria.
