Catholicos of All Armenians Sends Condolences to the President of Italy

On August 24, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; sent a letter to Italian President Sergio Mattarella; following the devastating earthquake that occurred in central Italy.
On behalf of the clergy and faithful of the Armenian Church, His Holiness addressed his letter to the President of Italy, families and friends of the victims, and the Italian people.
“From the depths of our heart we pray that All Merciful God, in His heavenly Kingdom, accepts the souls of the departed and grant them the gifts of light and peace, and may the grace of the Holy Spirit give comfort and consolation to their relatives.
His Holiness stated his wish that God bless Italy and keep her Christ-loving people secure and safe.
