Catholicos of All Armenians Sends Condolences to the Patriarch of All Georgia and to the President of Georgia
On June 15, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians sent a letter of condolence to His Holiness Ilia II, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia; and to Mr. Giorgi Margvelashvili, President of Georgia; on the loss of victims from the flood and destruction in Georgia’s capital of Tbilisi.
“On behalf of the Supreme Spiritual Council, clergy of the Armenian Church and the Armenian faithful sons, we are conveying our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and the missing persons and the Georgian people.” His Holines prayed that the Lord will receive their souls in His love and mercy.
His Holiness wished strength and vigor to the Georgian secular and religious authorities and pray that our Lord keeps Georgia and the Georgian people away from such tragedies.
