Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II is due to visit Georgia October 23-28, Arshak Archbishop Khachatryan told reporters today, not going deep into the schedule details, including Catholicos possible visit to Javakhk. The schedule is still being discussed and we will inform abaout it shortly, he said.
According to the Archbishop, during the visit the Catholicos will raise the issue of Armenian churches in the Georgian territory and the perspective for finding solution to the issue will become more tangible. “The talks are underway with the Georgian side today, however we have not reached any tangible results by now,” he said.
