Cathedral of Transfiguration of Our Savior Consecrated

ODESSA. His Holiness Patriarch Kirill and His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr consecrated Cathedral of Transfiguration of Our Savior
On July 21, at 7:30 His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr arrived to the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral, where he was met by the hierarchs of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, diocesan clergymen and numerous worshippers.
The Primate started performing the rite of consecration of the church destroyed in the times of atheist power and restored in the past few years through the efforts of clergy and faithful.
At 8:30 His Holiness Patriarch Kirill arrived to the Cathedral. After his vestment he led the sacred procession with a reliquary with pieces of relics of the new martyrs and concluded the consecration rite.
Thereafter together with Metropolitan Volodymyr he celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the cathedral consecrated.
