Here are details of a very different kind of Church Activity- the CAMP FOR ORTHODOX LEADERSHIP TRAINING

Venue and Dates: Kottayam: 26th May to 1st June, 2013.

Details: This is a Christian Training Camp for Young people which was first conducted in 1989 and has been enriching Indian Orthodox Youth for over 2 decades. It will be conducted in English, it will be spiritual, yet fun. For 3 days about 20 +young people from all over India will live together in Sophia Centre in Kottayam and learn about Christian Leadership, about Christ and his body, the Church. This will be done through interactive sessions interspersed with outdoor visits. From the fourth day on, we move by coach all over Kerala on a pilgrimage – with music and camaraderie and have fun – as we discover ourselves and our relationship to God. We hope you will deepen your faith as you delve into the rich tapestry of our beautiful churches, monasteries, convents and history on the Orthodox Christian Heritage Tour.

Focal Group: Youth aged 17-30 [meant for those born and brought up outside Kerala]

Cost: Rs 3500/- per person [all inclusive]
