Best Pro-life journalists chosen in Moscow

The Belarusian news portal Sobor.by ranked third according to the results of the journalist prolife contest held by the organizing committee of the Fifth Social Technologies Festival “Prolife-2014”. The Festival organized in order to promote and protect family values took part in Moscow in the early days of August. Speaking about the journalist contest, the results of it were announced on the 30th of September. 350 journalists took part in it.
The news portal Sobor.by submitted to the approval of the judges more than 60 prolife news items: reports, interviews, photo reports, video reports shown from the year 2011 to 2014 on the TV channels Glas and Soyuz.
The journalist contest organized as a part of the Festival “Prolife-2014” was held in order to draw the attention of the wide audience to the issue of the protection of a human life from the beginning of pregnancy and also to the necessity of preserving the traditional family values as well as to the work of prolife advocates.
According to the results of the contest, a freelance journalist Daria Yarygina, the author of the documentary “16-. Monologues about an early motherhood” ranked the second. A journalist Irina Ahundova became the winner of the contest. Recently she has prepared and published more than 10 anti-abortion contents.
