His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II attended the Berakah – Harvest Festival held in Kuwait.
He was accompanied by His Beatitude Mor Baselius Thomas I, Catholicos of India, and their Eminences Mor Severius Abraham, Patriarchal Vicar in Kuwait, Mor Gregorius Joseph, Metropolitan of Cochin, Mor Severius Kuriakose, Chief Metropolitan of the Knanaya Archdiocese, Mor Aphrem Matthews, Assistant Metropolitan in Angamali, Mor Coorilos Geevarghese, Metropolitan of Niranam, and Mor Timotheos Matthew, Patriarchal Secretary for Indian Affairs.
His Grace Rt. Rev. Dr. Joseph MarThoma, Metropolitan of Malankara Marthoma Syrian Church, was also present at the ceremony.
The children and members of the different choirs chanted hymns in Malayalam and Syriac.
His Holiness, His Beatitude and the metropolitans who were present lit the oil lamp and prayed for a good harvest and for prosperity to all.
