“Be Proud that We Live in Alexandria” – Pope Theodoros II of Alexandria

Alexandria-Egypt:  Pope Theodoros II of Alexandria praised the city of Alexandria by stating that “Alexandria is a city full of history and God loves her a lot because Alexander the Great took flour and drew its borders. Pigeons accompanied him to show that he will always be eternal and blessed. Alexandria loves, hosts, hopes and gives peace. Be proud that we live in Alexandria. It is a cosmopolitan city that will live in eternity”. The Primate of the Church of Alexandria made the preceeding statement on the 7th of July in his speech at an event at the emblematic Library of the Alexandrian city.

He also added that “Egypt, Greece and Cyprus are Nations of Peace and Love”.
