Archbishop Hanna: Syria Will Win War on Terrorism

TEHRAN (FNA)- Greek Orthodox Archbishop of Sebastia, Archbishop Atallah Hanna, said that Syria is the country of amity and coexistence among all religions.

Heading a mass congregation in the Bulgarian capital, Sofia, Archbishop Hanna prayed God to preserve Syria’s people, army and leadership, and called for the release of Greek Orthodox Metropolitan of Aleppo and Iskenderun, Bishop Paul Yazigi, and the Syriac Orthodox Metropolitan of Aleppo, Bishop John Ibrahim who have been kidnapped by a terrorist group in the countryside of Aleppo.

He expressed faith that Syria will win its war against terrorism by the steadfastness of its people and leadership and the sacrifices of the Syrian Army.
