The inauguration of the big Room of Multiple Use of Alphington Grammar College of the Greek Orthodox Community in Melbourne and Victoria will take place this Sunday, the 20th of March 2011, at 2:00 p.m., with the Federal Minister of Natural Resources and Tourism, Martin Ferguson. The event will be honored by the presence of the representatives of the state government, the general Greek Consul in Melbourne, Eleni Lianidou, the Community Board of Directors, the representatives of various organizations, members of the direction and the teaching staff, students, parents and friends of the school.

It is about a vision that began from the foundation of the College in 1989 and now becomes true with the economic support of the governments of Greece and Australia. The honorary guest of the inauguration is the benefactor of the Alphington Grammar College, Nikos Andrianakos who will also make a speech.

It is about a modern architectonic work, very original and characteristic of a special environmental sensitivity, which will give new dynamics in the athletic and cultural infrastructure of the Alphington Grammar College as well as in the rest of the Greek community.
