Abuna Michael meets President Obama

HG Bishop David of the Coptic Orthodox Archdiocese of N. America was invited to the White House Easter Prayer Breakfast today. Due to his travel & inability to attend, HG sent Abuna Michael on his behalf with a letter of gratitude to President Obama for his remembrance of the departure of HH Pope Shenouda.
Many inspiring words about the Resurrection of Jesus Christ were shared including those of President Obama & Vice-President Biden. President Obama expressed his desire to see continued progress and remains committed to the cause in Egypt.
